SOURIOTI S.A. was founded in 1916 and offers the consumer market a purely Greek, high-quality product: bottled mineral water.
In just a few years, the company has managed to capture a leading position in the carbonated water sector with a market share of over 46%. At the same time, its dynamic expansion into new global markets, such as the Middle East, Australia, Canada, Germany, and other countries, strengthens its vision of establishing its name and products worldwide.
The team of SOURIOTI S.A., in the context of securing the company’s development in a sustainable and environmentally sensitive manner, has proceeded with the installation, certification, and continuous improvement of food safety management systems, the creation of frameworks for the rational management and utilization of natural resources, continuous employee training, and more. Additionally, in order to safeguard the health and safety of its employees, the company has created a suitable working environment with standards ensuring the necessary working conditions.
How Funding from the Development Law Will Contribute to the Company’s Goals
SOURIOTI S.A.’s investment plan, with a total budget of approximately €25 million, was submitted under the “General Entrepreneurship” scheme of the Development Law (Law 4399/2016) in order to receive support in the form of a grant.
The submitted investment plan concerns the implementation of the investment for the new production line that will be constructed to meet the increased needs of the company.
In addition to the building installations, the investment plan includes the development of the surrounding area, as well as the purchase of mechanical and other equipment and the creation of technical facilities.
