🔹 The Hellenic Centre for Defense Innovation (HCDI) has issued three new calls for proposal submissions regarding the development of defense and security systems for military use.
1. Development of Innovative Tactical Command and Control System.
Scope of the call
Development of innovative technological tools that will provide integrated Command & Control capabilities for Special Operations Units in the field. The system will rely on automated sensor data collection and analysis with AI/ML models, supporting rapid decision making by commanders.
Budgeted value of the contract: 1,209,677€
Application submission deadline: 28/7/2025
The contract will be awarded to the most economically advantageous tender, based on the best price-quality ratio.
2. Development of autonomous Loitering Munition (LM).
Scope of the call
Development of autonomous Loitering Munition (LM) capable of detecting, identifying, targeting and engaging high value fixed and moving targets. The design of the system will enable the execution of missions against land or naval threats with high precision to limit collateral damage. Through the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), the system will be able to assess any tactical situation.
Budgeted value of the contract: 15,000,000€

3. Development of an advanced modular 5G wireless communications network.
Scope of the call
Development of an advanced modular 5G wireless communications network, specifically designed for military use. The system will provide the Armed Forces with advanced communication capabilities, high-speed data transmission with ultra-low latency, increased reliability and security through cryptographic and anti-interference capabilities.
The network will support the command and control of all types of operations, making a decisive contribution to rapid decision-making, enhancing operational flexibility, effective synchronization of forces and increasing situation awareness in the modern battlefield.
Budgeted value of the contract: 6,451,612€
